How to Create Playlists on YouTube

In order to be able to create playlists on Youtube, you need to be signed into an account. It is a Google account. Once you are signed in to YouTube, you will be brought to the home page.

You will see that on the left side of the page, there is a menu bar. You will want to click on where it says "My Channel".

It will then show you your channel page. I will be using my channel for an example.

The next step will be to click where it says "Playlists". This is located under your channel name.

Once one do that, it will show you all of your playlists, if you have created any yet. It will look like this:

If you want to create a playlist, you will want to click on the button that says "New Playlist". After you click on that a box will pop up.

You can then enter a name for the playlist. When you enter a name, you will be able to press the "Create" button. It will then create the playlist for you.

When you create the playlist, it will be empty. In the bottom right corner of the playlist menu, there is an "Add videos" button. If you click on it, there will be a box that gives you three options to choose from. You can:

Search for a video:

Enter a videos URL:

Choose your videos:

Once you select the videos you want to put into the playlist, press the "Add videos" button. The video(s) will now be in the playlist for you to access.

Now that you know how to create playlists on YouTube, you will be able to sort your videos. You can also make your playlists private or public.
