Probeware Thermometers

So one of the questions that’s been brought to my attention is how can we use the Probeware thermometers with the Acer Chromebooks? The Probeware Thermometers are electronic thermometers that you can plug into any computer and collect data through your computer. Pretty neat huh? The only obstacle with that is how? The way that the Acer Chromebooks are set up is that a student has to log in with the provided school email and that the only server really aloud to be used is google. You don’t need a google play account or anything of the sorts, all you need is to your school email to log into the Chromebook and then access to google!

If you go to www.vernier.com/platforms/chromebooks/

This is what comes up;

This is what pops up, but from here it just gets easier! If you start to scroll down you’ll see the overview explaining the basics of the Probeware. After that you’ll see “How it works” but keep scrolling! In a short second you'll see the "What you need section" and thats what you need.

Your going to click the "Graphic Analysis For Chrome" and the Google App store symbol will pop and all you have to do is click it, download the software and then there ya go! The software will be downloaded into your google account and easy access from there! Stay tune for my next blog post where I'll be teaching you how to transfer that information into Google Drive.
