How to create an easy to follow Timeline

How to create an easy flowing timeline on Keynote

This blog post is on how to create a timeline using the Keynote program. In some presentations, information can be displayed through a timeline. Timelines can often be displayed as messy and confusing when put on different slides. Here is an easy step by step guide to help you make the most out of your Keynote. The example below were used on the Keynote program for the Mac.

1) Get onto an empty keynote slide and choose the text box in which suits your style best. Put your box at the top of the page and make it the appropriate size to fit your information.

2) Then click onto the feature labeled Shape on the top of the toolbar. This feature should display a Green Square as its handle.

3) When you click on the feature Shape, scroll through the options in which it provides and find the arrow that goes best with your presentation.

4) After choosing your arrow, adjust the arrow that it directly points down from your first text box.

5) Add your second text box, then complete the same steps over again until you’ve completed your timeline!

Your end result may look something like this. It is easy to make, easy to follow, and will look great when presenting a project!
